A traditional family-friendly pub
Soak up our friendly service and homely charm when nestled in the heart of the impressive wayside pub located in the idyllic Yorkshire village of Farnley Tyas. Here at The Golden Cock, we are the perfect retreat to sit back, relax and indulge in our delicious food with the perfect drink in hand.
Our traditional pub classics are expertly crafted from our seasonal menus and the bar is crammed with local ales and tipples to tempt any taste buds. Using the most seasonal ingredients and decadent flavours, there’s a dish for every desire.
HISTORY
The pub itself is 200 years old and still maintains it traditional features and character, where our guests can enjoy a comfortable drinking and dining experience. We have a pleasant outside seating area to the front with speakers and a quiet area to the rear of the building.
Popular with locals and visitors we also dog friendly and allow them in the bar area, however we recommend booking a table as seating is limited.
